Not to be confused with sprouts, alfalfa microgreens are grown in trays with soil and develop genuine cotyledon leaves, making them more nutritionally complete. A superb sandwich stuffer, salad topper, and bowl garnish beloved for its mild, universally crowd-pleasing flavor.

Grow in trays using coconut coir—alfalfa seeds are very small and best broadcast evenly across the tray surface. Keep consistently misted until germination, then ensure good airflow to prevent damping off.
